THIRI AUNG
Thiri is the Founder and CEO of Nyxium. She holds a PhD in Environmental Science and completed postdoctoral research at Harvard University, where she later worked as a Research Scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She has also held research and consultancy roles at Peking University, WWF, IFC, and the University of Liverpool. After founding and exiting Metry, she launched Nyxium to help energy, data centre, mining, and industrial developers make infrastructure decisions that are technically feasible, compliant, and deployable in the real world. "The biggest infrastructure failures rarely happen because the engineering is impossible. They happen because the right decisions weren't made early enough."

Paul is Co-Founder and CTO of Nyxium. He holds a PhD in Nuclear Science and Engineering from MIT, alongside Master's degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. Before Nyxium, he conducted AI and nuclear systems research at Idaho National Laboratory, MIT, and Argonne National Laboratory. At Nyxium, he leads the company's technical vision and architecture, integrating AI agents, geospatial intelligence, regulatory and policy analysis, and optimization to help developers, investors, and infrastructure stakeholders make faster, evidence-based investment and development decisions. "The challenge isn't building smarter AI. It's building AI-powered workflows that enable critical infrastructure projects to move from concept to deployment with confidence."
